Barre helps you build long, lean muscle while improving strength, balance, posture, and flexibility. With consistent practice, you can expect increased muscle tone, better body awareness, improved endurance, and a stronger core—all without high-impact movements.
Barre can help support overall fitness goals such as toning muscles, increasing flexibility, enhancing balance and coordination, and strengthening your core. Many clients also find barre beneficial for posture, injury prevention, and stress relief thanks to its low-impact, mindful approach to movement.
Barre targets the full body with an emphasis on smaller, stabilizing muscles. You’ll especially work the legs, glutes, core, arms, and back through controlled, precise movements designed to strengthen and sculpt.
Yes! Ballet Barre is suitable for all fitness levels, including beginners. Your instructor will help you modify movements and exercises based on your experience and comfort level. Your instructor is there to provide the guidance you need to help you feel confident, safe, and supported throughout class.
Wear comfortable clothing you can move easily in, e.g., pants, leggings, or capris, a workout tank or t-shirt, and socks. Tights, leotard, and a ballet skirt are also okay, but not required at all.
We’ll have all the equipment you’ll need at the studio, so just bring a pair of socks, water, a towel, and a positive attitude.
We recommend that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your first class begins. This will give you a chance to meet your teacher and get familiar with the studio.
Ballet Barre is a full-body workout that blends ballet-inspired movements with strength training and endurance work to tone and sculpt muscles.
Ballet Stretch and Core focuses more on flexibility, mobility, and deep core strengthening, offering a slower-paced class with extended stretching and targeted abdominal work. It’s a great complement to Barre or a standalone option for recovery and core engagement.
